Litter Update: G-Litter "Golden Leaves"

7 Alaskan Malamute puppies (4 males / 3 females) were born on August 17, 2026. The first litter of Back to Work Secret Island Lumi – and a Continuation with Back to Work Mystery Fluke.

With our FCI registered Alaskan Malamute Kennel we can announce a litter from the following mating for 17.08.2026:

As summer slowly begins to draw to a close in the far north, Lumi has welcomed seven little messengers of autumn into the world at exactly the right time. On August 17, 2026, as the first birch leaves around Cathi's Meadow Garden began to turn golden, the Golden Leaves puppies were born – living up to their litter name from the very moment they arrived.

Seven healthy, strong puppies – four males and three females – are now bustling around in our litter box. Giving birth was a big task for our first-time mum Lumi, which she handled with remarkable perseverance and instinct. Now, tired but loving and devoted, she is taking wonderful care of her seven little autumn arrivals.

The G Litter also has a few surprises in store when it comes to colour: alongside wolf-grey puppies, we have black-and-white and pure white Alaskan Malamutes. The colour variety already delighted us in the First Bloom Litter, sired by Fluke and out of Lumi's sister Mini – so much so that we decided to repeat this proven combination with Lumi.

There is another little connection between the G Litter and their half-siblings: the Golden Leaves share their birthday with the puppies from our Elemental Litter. This means that Fluke has now sired three litters at Cathi's Meadow Garden.

The seven Golden Leaves will now grow up alongside Lumi and our pack here in Lapland. Over the coming weeks, these little autumn leaves will develop into increasingly individual personalities – and we are excited to discover which colours, characters and stories are waiting to unfold beneath their soft puppy coats.
