Litter Update: "Dark Velvet" Puppies Now 4 Weeks Old

The most beautiful four weeks have passed, and our softies are exploring their world. All five puppies have already found their future homes!

Elfi’s whelping box is now full of movement. What used to be a quiet sleeping space has become a stage for early play, wrestling matches, and tiny adventures beyond the edge of the box. It's a joy to watch each puppy grow – both physically and in character.

We are especially delighted by the gentle, balanced nature of this entire litter. All five puppies are showing themselves to be calm and mild-tempered representatives of their breed – just like their parents, Elfi and Chicco. The pairing of the two was considered a well-matched and promising one, and this litter has confirmed that beautifully.

The good news for us: All puppies from the Dark Velvet litter have now found their forever families. Each of them will be placed in experienced hands – and some will even join the pack of an existing Meadow Garden Malamute. We are deeply honored by this trust. Other puppies will begin an entirely new chapter with people we've had the pleasure of getting to know over the past weeks – and with whom we hope to stay in touch for a long time to come. All five will be moving to different regions across Germany in September – where they’ll be welcomed with open arms.

"Dark Velvet" Puppies - 4 Weeks Old

In just a few weeks, the next big step awaits: the move to Horb am Neckar. There, the puppies will spend some time with their mother Elfi, getting used to new surroundings and recovering from the long journey before they head off to their new homes.

We’re excited for the weeks ahead, as we continue to accompany them on this journey – and even more so for the updates we’ll receive from their future families. The official name reveal of our five Dark Velvet puppies will follow in the next update. Until then, we’ll continue sharing glimpses of their daily life on Instagram and Facebook.

We are incredibly proud of Elfi. This is her very first litter, and it’s truly heartwarming to see the calm, soulful way she cares for her little ones – and the trust she’s placed in us throughout. Over the coming weeks, we’ll be expanding the Breeding section of our website and introducing the Dark Velvet puppies in more detail!
